West to Panama

Upon arriving in the British Virgin Islands, Captain Allen Daniels, first mate Paco Hoya, and the author are approached by an attractive divorcée and asked to assist her in moving her sailboat to San Diego, California. Being in the right spot at the right time proved to be beneficial for the author. It was in this setting, coupled with his badly needing a job that he entered the McDonalds™ workforce in March of 1967. For the next ten years he witnessed and participated in the development of one of the greatest companies in the fast food industry not only in America but worldwide. He feels privileged to have known and travelled with Ray A. Kroc, founder of McDonalds™ Corporation. This is that story.
